Lorex DVR controls may differ from the views you have on your device, but the general steps are similar to this guide. If you require assistance please submit a ticket.

Lorex Cameras have a default name of LOREX when installed, Factory Reset, or lose connection for reasonable periods of time. Assigning names to cameras will speed up the collection of Video Clips and snapshots.

1. In the New tab ( + ) select Live View.

2. Expand the list for the desired DVR by selecting the arrow to the left of the DVR name.

3. Double click on the desired camera to confirm you have the correct view. The live feed of the camera will display in an available view pane.

4. Right click on the camera and select "Modify Channel Name"

5. Modify the text to change the Camera's Name. Please keep in mind that this may revert to the old name if another user is connected to the DVR via the Lorex Cloud Software.

6. Repeat for each camera as necessary.
