Lorex DVR controls may differ from the views you have on your device, but the general steps are similar to this guide. If you require assistance please submit a ticket.

1. Connect the USB thumb drive to a free USB port on the recorder.
2. From the Live View display, right-click to open the Quick Menu, then click Playback.

3. Use the calendar (3) on the right to select the day to playback.
4. Check the channels (4) you want to play back.
5. Click inside the video bar (5) to select the playback time. The system will begin playing back
video from the selected time.

6. Click the Scissor button (6) to mark the beginning of the video clip, then click again to mark the end of the video clip.
7. Click the Save Icon (7) to open the backup menu.

8. Select a MKV or MP4 (8) for your backup file type.
9. Click Backup (9).

Recorded files exported as MKV or MP4 can be played via any media player on most computers. Provide the USB or media file copied from USB to the requesting individual.
